Happy Birthday Little Nugget!

A year ago right now, I had been in labor for 7 hours with another 7 hours to go… but it was totally worth it! 🙂

Today our little guy celebrates his first birthday and we are SO thankful for all of the laughs, tears, lessons learned, adventures, and joys that he has brought us.

Last night as I was putting him in his crib I just thanked God for the past year and asked if we could have at least 100 more! But really my prayer for him each night is that in every aspect of his life he will bring glory to God. I pray that he comes to know Jesus Christ as his Savior at a young age and that God will give us the grace and wisdom to raise him to love and know the God who created the whole Universe. What a privilege we have!

Thank you to all of you who have prayed for us, given advice, loved us, encouraged us, and challenged us as we have only begun our parenting journey. God is so good!!
