Today, I\’m thankful for the calling that God has placed on mine and Richard\’s lives.
Sometimes, I\’m scared. I have no idea the trials that may await us in the Amazon Jungle. I don\’t know the culture. I don\’t know the tribal language. I\’ve never lived without running water or electricity before. I\’ve never had to cook every meal from scratch. I\’ve never raised my child(ren) in a village. I\’ve never had to go weeks or even months without communication with family and friends. I\’ve yet to watch Richard fly away to an uncontacted tribe to share Jesus, not knowing when he\’ll return or what he may encounter.
But, regardless of all uncertainties that are ahead of us, this is my heart.
And I\’m so thankful for the privilege to go.
